For all the car fanatics out there, this could be your dream condo. While we’re not sure if you have to have a Porsche to live in the Porsche Design Tower, you may as well get that extra luxury. And with a robotic parking garage in your unit, you can keep an eye on your car while watching TV in the living room.

North of Miami in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, this modern condo has all the imported luxuries you could need. This beach front property has a pool, restaurant, wine room, and even ironclad security. But if you’re not into strangers, just relax in your private pool overlooking the city from your balcony.

Ride your car down the elevator and head the 30 minutes into Miami or hour over to the everglades for an adventure. Just don’t take the Porsche over there.

For $5.9 million, the three bed, five bath has great views inside and outside.

Secluded on the far east side of the island, hiding from your responsibilities just got a lot easier. This 12,000 square foot mansion in East Hampton, New York is the private vacation home you never knew you needed. If that doesn’t make you feel hidden enough, there’s a bonus room with a secret door. They’ll never find you.

The eight bed, 11 bath home is complete with private decks off the master suites, two kitchen islands for double the snacking and an in home theater. The outdoor space is fully landscaped and features a separate bathhouse and salt water pool.

To end the evening, you could get in a quick work out in the gym and then top it off with a bottle from the cellar. The hydraulic elevator will even come in handy after all those squats. Or after the bottle of wine…

You could go completely off the grid here, except for the Instagram worthy shot at the yacht club across the bay. Not to worry though, East Hampton Village is walking distance, so you can still have all the Starbucks and SoulCycle your heart desires.

For $9.9 million, there’s no better place to be hiding from your responsibilities.

In the gated community of Santaluz outside San Diego, California, is this home built with all the finest features. A Sonos sound system throughout, you can jam out to your favorite song while you’re lifting weights or while you’re in the bar lifting that beer glass to your mouth.

The kitchen and great room area is finished with marble counter tops and 14 foot ceilings. Or step outside to the outdoor living room for a wood burning fireplace and heat lamps for those chillier nights.

But even with the luxurious amenities inside, the backyard is what dreams are made of. It doesn’t get much better than the views of the San Diego sunset and the occasional hot air balloon drifting by. You can even enjoy it from the saltwater pool while munching on some fruit from one of the fruit trees in the professionally landscaped garden. Mandarin oranges, tangelos, apples, peaches, avocados… take your pick.

If all this fruit is starting sound good, give a shout to Jessica Wallace-Kelley from Willis Allen Real Estate. If you like what you see, you can thank VHT Studios photographer Larry B. The five bedroom, five and a half bath is up for $3.5 million.

Everyone seems to have a wine cellar these days, and this place is no exception. There actually isn’t anything that this Glenview, Illinois new construction doesn’t have. Built on a double lot, there is a little extra room to breath and a little extra room to have all the amenities you want.

Home Offices To Envy

$

Reporting live from my Chicago apartment, Happy Monday! I’m here in my living room, which is also my kitchen… and guest bedroom (complete with futon). *Sigh*

Okay, so a home office has never been a necessity quite like it is now. If you have one, you’re golden. If you don’t, your family, roommates, or pets are interrupting your video calls and you’re eating five meals a day, two that you call “snacks”.

There’s something important about having a space set apart for your job. Those of you that do are majorly privileged right now, so the rest of us are going to envy you. Fair warning.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at some cool home offices I’m jealous of right now.

The Cozy Corner

Photographed by Marc S.

Soft colors, a throw blanket, and a balcony for coffee breaks, I’m not asking for much. This would be perfect, perhaps only lacking a popcorn machine so I don’t have to leave for food. Who wouldn’t want to work here?

The “I’ll Pencil You In” Station

Photographed by Michelle N.

This office says, “Don’t bother me. I’m busy,” like no other. Sitting behind that desk makes you look important and preoccupied. Your kids would totally know not to bother you and would, of course, knock politely before entering. Sounds like my kind of setup (except for keeping my cats away). Need me for something? I’ll pencil you in my schedule.

It’s Five-O’Clock Somewhere

Photographed by Michael E.

A couple of desks large enough for computer monitors, a fan for fending off the Florida heat, and minimal distractions all will help you stay on task. Why would you want to complete work quickly here? Because, if you look carefully, you’ll see out the doorway is the ocean and probably some Margarita mixer. Every day can be Fri-yay here.

The Mod-fice

Photographed by Al S.

Modern office?… Okay, I tried. But you see where I was going: contemporary furniture, clean layout, and exposed brick that warms it all up. This design is forward and functional. With the right amount of caffeine, I would be well-equipped here to get some serious work done.

MTV Cribs

Photographed by Brian W.

Rich, extravagant, and some might even say profligate, I assure you I’d get no work done here. A typical day might look like re-watching Tiger King on that 70-inch flat-screen, ordering Jimmy John’s to see how freaky fast they can get to the 54th floor, and having a VHT Platinum Photoshoot of my cats in those royally gold chairs.

Okay, home offices, yes? Once a luxury, now an inarguable necessity for your new lifestyle that exists entirely in your house. Working from home used to be a dream, a legend only seasoned colleagues told, a joke in passing to the breakroom. Now it is verging on a nightmare.

A warped spine, needy offspring, and a gripping docuseries about people who pimp out tigers are all inhibiting you from getting work done. The solution I propose: start building your home office one gold chair at a time.
